This week, Reception class have enjoyed working outside in the sun. The class went on an exciting 'Spring walk' and discovered that a lot of the plants in the school grounds had changed over the Easter holidays, and that new flowers had grown. The children noticed the differences between the trees and plants and drew lovely pictures of them.
In a messy activity, groups of children experimented with water, cooking oil and food colouring. They enjoyed watching the mixtures seperate and the water change colour.
ALso in the water tray, the children used duck tape to help them make waterways out of different pipes and pieces of guttering.
