We have really enjoyed bringing in our bikes and scooters this week. We followed trails and went in and around obstacles in the bottom playground. The weather was fine and we spent much of the day outside riding our scooters or bikes. It was fun.

We have also been weighing things with our hands and then with the balances. We were very good at explaining what would happen to the balances if something was heavier or lighter than something else.

We hope you enjoy your Mothers Day surprises! Have a lovely weekend.

We have been very busy this week learning more about Chinese New Year. Most of us loved tasting the Chinese food and even wanted more! We have also been making Chinese dragons and all had a go in the Chinese Parade and the Dragon Dance. It was great fun.

We were also thinking about longer and shorter and all of us managed to complete the challenge to make 3 snakes and order them to find the longest. We then measured them with multilink bricks to find the longest in the class. It measured 23 multilink bricks!

We are looking forward to our holiday now after working so hard this term. Hope everyone has a very happy one.

Don't forget our new topic next term is Travel and Transport and we are looking forward to seeing everyone's bike or scooter in the first week back.

This week

This week we have been finding out about the Chinese New Year. We have been using chopsticks and reading the story about how the Chinese New Year is named after different animals. We have also copied some Chinese writing. We will be learning more about the Chinese New Year next week. If you have any information about this topic please share it with us.
