Our first PE sessions

Our third week at school and we are all getting to know the routines and each others names really well. This week we have made a paper plate face, done some more counting activities, chosen reading books and had our first PE lesson. We also all enjoyed reading Each Peach Pear Plum and playing rhyming games. Next week we will be staying for lunch and it's our last week of being part time. Have a fun weekend.

Our second week

We have had another very busy week in YR. This week we have been thinking about feelings, how our faces show how we feel and what makes us feel happy and sad. We have also been singing lots of number rhymes and playing some number games. Today we learnt what to do when the fire alarm sounds and our teachers were very proud of how well we did this. Our first week

Welcome to the YR blog. This has been our first week in school and what a busy week it has been! We have all settled in really well and our teachers have been very pleased with us.
We have enjoyed doing lots of different activities, learning some new songs and making new friends.
