This week has been a sad but exciting time for YR. We had a lovely day on Monday spending time in our new classroom and meeting Miss Welton. We all had lots to say about what we are looking forward to in Y1. Then on Tuesday we watched the Y6 Leavers Concert. It was brilliant and we all really enjoyed it.
On Wednesday we said a big thank you to all our parent helpers and then watched the older children who had been learning musical instruments perform.
Thursday was the leavers assembly where we said goodbye to Y6 and saw some great photos of them when they were in YR. We also had our teddy bears picnic and were very lucky with the weather.
Finally the YR team would like to say a massive thank you to the children for being so fantastic this year, you have been a real pleasure to teach and we wish all good luck for Y1.
Also a huge thank you to all the parents for being so supportive this year, it has made our job so much easier.
