This week YR went on their annual trip to the zoo. We had a fantastic day, the children behaved brilliantly and the weather was lovely. The children really enjoyed seeing all the animals and during the minibeast workshop lots of very brave children held a cockroach and a beetle larva. They also had a chance to stroke a stick insect!
Over the last couple of days we have been following up our trip with lots of animal related activities. We've done some great paintings of our favourite zoo animals and written some sentences about what we saw there.A big thank you to all the parents who were able to help out on the trip.
